Who we are
VoltexAI is an AI receptionist service for renovation and trades businesses, based in Milton, Ontario. This policy covers two things: this website, and the calls our receptionist answers for the businesses that use it.
What we collect on this website
When you book a pilot call, we collect what you type into the form:
- Your name, business name, phone number and email
- The kind of work you do, your city or area, and any notes you add
- The time you pick for the call
We also record the internet (IP) address the booking came from. We use it only to stop spam and duplicate bookings.
We count visits to the site with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies or build a profile of you. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To book your call, send you the calendar invite, and call you at that time
- To set up and run your free pilot if you go ahead
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Calls our receptionist answers
When someone calls a business that uses VoltexAI, our AI receptionist answers on that business's behalf.
- Calls are recorded and transcribed. Callers are told the call is recorded at the start of the call.
- We collect only what is needed to follow up on a job: name, number, address, and the work described.
- Those details, and the transcript, go to the business that was called so it can follow up.
If you called one of those businesses and have a question about your information, you can ask that business or email us.
Who helps us run the service
We use trusted service providers for email and calendars, automation, phone calls and transcription, text messages, and hosting this website. They only handle information as needed to provide their part of the service.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it to provide the service, or as long as the law requires. Then we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can see it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email adrian@voltexai.net.
We will answer within 30 days.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
